My practice involves how a cyclical narrative can impact materiality. How object, performance and print can inform each other.
The physical tool of production is not just in my hands, but also in the kinetics of my entire body. I want to recontextualize the tension between action and restraint, occupation and escape, abandonment and eviction. The physical escape is a metaphor for our emotional struggles, our inability to escape our own hesitations, fears, and inhibitions: a physical and psychological self imposed imprisonment.
